HBD is a globally oriented company specializing in metal additive manufacturing, with a strong focus on Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). Headquartered in Shanghai, HBD operates multiple production facilities in Zhongshan, Guangdong, supported by an Asia-Pacific regional office in Vietnam and European R&D and service center in Munich, Germany, which enables us to deliver responsive, high-quality support to customers worldwide.

Operating globally since 2007, HBD has installed over 950 systems across 37 countries and regions, as of the end of 2024. Our product portfolio includes compact platforms such as the HBD 150D and 200D for dental and medical applications, mid-to-large industrial systems like the HBD 400 and 500, and the large-format HBD 1000Pro, designed for aerospace-scale production.

Certified to ISO 9001, SGS-CE, AS9100D, and ATEX standards, HBD delivers advanced metal 3D printing equipment and end-to-end solutions for industries such as aerospace, dental & medical, mold & die, automotive, energy, and consumer electronics. Since 2019, HBD has consistently shipped more than 100 units annually, backed by deep process know-how and application expertise to help customers achieve reliable quality and efficient production at scale.
